MAYA KLAUSNER is a stand-up comedian, actress and writer based in New York City. A native New Yorker, Klausner has been doing her act on NYC stages since 2010. She has performed at COMIC STRIP LIVE, NEW YORK COMEDY CLUB, GOTHAM COMEDY CLUB, THE STAND and THE COMEDY STORE in LA to name a few.

 

Maya received formal acting training from MN Acting Studios and graduated from the advanced program

at the world renowned UPRIGHT CITIZENS BRIGADE in

New York City. Since, she has starred in the television comedy series, “BROOKLYNIFCATION” and short films

“ALL GOD’S CHILDREN” and “THE DOLL OF YOUR DREAMS.”

 

Maya has been selected to perform in competitive comedy festivals such as: SHE DEVIL COMEDY FESTIVAL, LA COMEDY FESTIVAL, CONSHY COMEDY FESTIVAL, LAS VEGAS COMEDY FESTIVAL and NORTH CAROLINA COMEDY FESTIVAL.

She was featured in TIME OUT NY for “Joke of the week” and appeared in viral sketches for popular platforms
